Overview
About Me
I am originally from China but have lived in the U.S. and Germany for 10+ years.
Having studied environmental studies, I'm interested in finding/creating joyful ways to motivate and help enable more people to live an engaged and sustainable life. I’m currently traveling around the world for a year on a fellowship, exploring plant-based foodscapes across cultures. I just started a blog to document my journey and reflections on this trip: https://loveandpeas.org/
I highly value the experiences of meeting people and sharing ourselves in the fleeting--or maybe longer--moments of encounter. I am a very self-reflective person. I enjoy stimulating conversations that help the soul to grow. I embrace an experience-oriented mindset and consider myself open-minded.
There's much more I could write about myself... but to keep it reasonably short and sweet, I'd say that I am trying to live a life that I would want to read about, one moment at a time :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I won a fellowship to travel around the world for a year, which is why I'm currently traveling!

I've also done a Vipassana retreat, which is one of the most challenging experiences of my life. Happy to share more :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share with you my experiences traveling and studying in different countries. I can also teach you some Chinese if that interests you. I am also full of questions--sometimes thought-provoking, sometimes silly, and sometimes both. I’ve been told by many that conversations with me are always stimulating.
I am always curious. I've cultivated a habit to always reflect on what I could learn from the people I meet in my life. I believe there's always something to be learned, no matter with whom and whatever the situation is.
Also always down to share good plant-based food :D
