ABOUT ME
Born in Taiwan, now I am pursuing a degree in Belgium.
I love backpacking since the first time I traveled with my friends over Taiwan after high school. At that time, internet was not that popular and it made backpack more difficult but fun. Besides traveling, I have attended several exchange programs (Of course I also traveled a lot during my exchange career:p). One of them is to Sweden for one and half year. It was a big change: a girl from a small southern island to a giant northern country, and it affected me a lot. I decided to stay few more years in Europe and explore more the other side of the world. According to the culture-shock I had and some culture courses I took, I am very willing to tell you some unique aspects I have observed until now.
PHILOSOPHY
Live a happier live, for myself and all other people in the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am learning to be a warm host and a considerate and interesting surfer.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I had several CS experiences, and all of them brought me unique lessons. Though most of time we didn't find each other at this website. Some of them are from a BBS, and others are from a forum. However, meeting people you'd never expected is the most interesting part of CS. I would really like to thank the founder of this project. Now I can understand why you say, "We make the world a better place by opening our homes, our hearts, and our lives."

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1. Got up at 4 in the morning, cycled 30 minutes to the train station, took the earliest train for 3 hours to the airport to catch up the plane at 10, found our reservation had been canceled, and immediately booked another ticket on the day after to another destination by airport internet without any traveling information and reservation. Of course, we slept overnight at the airport.
2. The return flight was delayed for almost an hour. We couldn't catch the latest train back to our place at that day. We didn't want to sleep at the airport again, so we took the bus to Stockholm center station. There were no train or bus to Linkoping, either. The worst thing is the station closed at midnight and it was in freezing January. We didn't have a place to go but wait outside the train station. To keep ourselves warm, we had to do exercise overnight until 4.
