I'm a sweet --- provided you trust my girlfriend^^ --- and shy tall guy. I'm 27 and I'm from Belgium. I was raised in Belgium in a family with three brothers that get along very well with each other! I've played a lot of tennis when I was under 18. Traveling to the different tournaments in Belgium, France, Luxembourg and Spain often meant opportunities to visit the cities. At 18 I moved to Brussels to study at the university. Before graduating, I had the chance to travel to London and Medellin, Colombia.
Now, I live in an apartment in Brussels where my lovely girlfriend regularly comes to visit me. I try to visit her as much as I can in Bonn, Germany. We travel together in Belgium, Germany and France and I regularly travel to Milano or Rome for work.
I work for a small company that is located in Brussels and that specialises in radiation transfer modelling for Earth observation applications. I very much enjoy what I do there. On top of that, I enjoy reading, playing tennis, playing the piano and playing the game of Go. I am a science enthusiast, especially about physics and astrophysics but biology, social sciences and technologies in general are also part of my areas of interests.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think couchsurfing offers a great alternative to the less friendly hotel or guest rooms. I've experienced it previously and I still keep an excellent memory.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I swam in the red sea when I was 6, there was so many fishes, that was awesome!

I was (temporaily) refused the right to enter the United States because the customs estimated I did not have enough money with me.

I was in the Death Valley when the temperature was 55°C.
