Hey! My name is Yvan (pronounced like Yvonne), and I really love traveling, playing/listening to music, being outdoors, eating good food, and getting an insider's view of new places. I graduated in May with a BA in Psychology and hope to pursue that further in a couple years, but for now would love to do and see as much as I can. While I tend to be a bit more on the introverted side, I'm open to pretty much anything and am excited to explore new cities with new people.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite genre of music is indie/folk, but I really love to listen to most genres. Some groups/artists I really like are The Avett Brothers, Daughter, Bob Dylan, Iron & Wine, Hozier.

I typically like movies and books that are dramas, fantasies, suspense.

Some TV shows I'm watching now or just enjoy watching are House of Cards, Game of Thrones, The Office, Master of None, Rick and Morty. I usually enjoy dramas or comedies, but again, really like to watch a lot of different genres.

Teach, Learn, Share

Music is one of my biggest passions and I love to bring smaller instruments with me when I can. I'd love to play music with other musicians or even just hear about the music others like to listen to.

I like to cook, and while I don't have too many dishes under my belt yet, I'm happy to help and/or learn when it comes to cooking.

I'm also interested in peoples' favorite parts of their own cities, whether it's an area or an activity. Time permitting, I'm very interested in exploring the city with locals who are available.
