ABOUT ME

As hard an exercise as drawing an honest portrait of ourself is, I'll try !
I'm not what I would call a globe-trotter or an adventurer, but I love travelling nonetheless. Discovering awesome landscapes, exalting cities and meeting interesting people is amazing.
I've mainly travelled in Western Europe, but sometimes found the opportunity to go to more distant destinations. My most impressive journey was probably the one in Japan, a country so different than Europe and so beautiful in so many ways. Though, young and shy as I was - and accompanied by uncles and cousins, I didn't had the opportunity to get to know the people there very well.

Now that I'm a bit less young and a lot less shy, I aim to enjoy both the beauty of the countries I travel to, and the culture of the people I'll meet. In return, I hope to bring them my kindness and honesty, and hopefully a lot of fun !

I'll be travelling with my girlfriend, a lovely princess from Germany, who is as open-minded and almost as gentle as me ! You just mustn't forget that she is a princess.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As a student, I haven't had any room for a couch in my small studio ! I couldn't host yet but I'm looking forward to do it when I'm a bit more settled.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed last summer in Annecy and Charleroi. I got to meet very friendly and unique people, and since then I aim at travelling this way more and more.

Interests

I love all kinds of games. At home, I have a time-consuming passion for video games, along with card games (Magic the Gathering) and board games and strategy games in general (Chess). I usually drop all of this when I go on a trip, but would catch an opportunity to confront a willing opponent if I were to meet one !

I'm also very fond of Cinema, and there are few things I like more than discovering an amazing movie. My interests gravitate from the greatest American classics (Scorsese's early films, Kubrick's masterpieces - which basically means all his movies, Coppola's Godfather) to the humanist pictures of Akira Kurosawa (Ikiru, Dersou Ouzala, 7 Samurais). And many others !

I can survive without music, but I always love listening to a great piece of art. Just like in cinema, I like a great variety of styles, as long as it's awesome ! Pink Floyd, the Fugees, Prokofiev, Led Zeppelin, Beethoven...

I also like reading, hiking, eating, drinking (eh... I'm French !), chatting with friends late at night while sipping at a fresh beer...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being born was quite a thing. Crossing half of France hitch-hiking was a cool thing to do aswell ! Along with many other things... it's just to hard to select !
