CURRENT MISSION

Now that I've managed to find a place to live, with the help of other CS's, my next mission is to get to grips with the French language and find work

ABOUT ME

I was born in France but due to my parents splitting and my mum being English, I ended up there... I came to the UK when I was 8 and have remained there since. I've had quite enough now and feel it's time to bloody well go back to my fellow frogs so that's what I'm doing!! I'm going to (hopefully) secure an apartment there early March and then actually move there in April.

As a person, I'm kinda weird in that I have an strange sense of humour.. People often don't understand me until they get to know me a little more.. I'm good at keeping a poker face while saying something completely daft.. it makes me laugh but makes others confused and puzzled, which in turn makes me laugh even more.. once my friends do get to know me they laugh too (but not always...).

PHILOSOPHY

Treat people the way you would want to be treated and remove 'blinkers' as by being open minded you'll see behind any covers!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm a complete newbie at this with little experience. I think I need more practice!

-I like going to music sessions (I play a little fiddle).. well it's a normal size fiddle but play a little ;-)..

-Running around in circles, naked, wearing a marigold over my head while making chicken noises.. (perhaps not lol)

Strangely, I don't watch many movies (ironic) but love music.. too many to list but here's some;
Folk, folk rock, eg Peatbog Faeries, Levellers
Rock / heavy eg System of a down, Metallica..(I am respectful of noise levels with people around me lol ;-))
Chill eg Pink Floyd,trad folk, live acoustic music etc..
I'll come back to this.. so many genres ..

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I love people and meeting new cultures! My work has allowed me to do some of this before I became self employed as a bike and car instructor.. That was so interesting!

One 'amazing thing I have done which has to be mentioned is moved to France last year. I still feel very overwhelmed by it all. It's a totally new life, from start to end and I came without really knowing anyone or having a job to go to! The range of activities here are amazing, as is the scenery, in summer AND winter! This winter I learned to snowboard!! All amazing!!
