Ahoi everybody!

I'm Yvonne, a 21 year old stranger from Austria, moving to Amsterdam to start over a new bachelor programme called PPLE (psychology, politics, economics and law) upcoming September. I chose this interdisciplinary bachelor, because - in contrast to many other programmes - it is less concerned about sustaining old structures, but rather emphasises on questioning those values and taking a stab to improve them!

I would consider myself as an open-minded, curious, critical-thinking, spontaneous, capricious, clean and vivid person, who is always looking for new ADVENTURES in any kind of way!

I am honest and straightforward and love enriching conversations and passionate discussions, since I´m constantly trying to improve and challenge myself - Like Saint-Exupéry once said: "The little prince never let go of a question, once he had asked it."

As being a free spirit, on the road is the "place" where I feel most comfortable - home is where my backpack is!
Five of the many (!) things I want to do before I die is to at least travel through one country by bike, one by motorcycle and one by horse, dive with whales and live on a boat.

I love nature and outdoor activities as well as focusing on my sensory perception - whether a starry sky, aquarelle colored clouds, shadow plays in small avenues, the smell of cinnamon, hearing my best friend's laugher, dancing through summer storms or walking barefoot through mud - these are the things which make me genuinely happy!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I hope to have the chance to get to know vibrant, creative, passionate and dedicated people who push and inspire each other – burning for what they are interested in, doing their utmost to challenge themselves, sharing and exchaning their perceptions, thoughts and ideas
