About Me

I'd like to think that I am an open-minded, adventurous and most-of-the-time reckless traveller who is always lucky enough to receive help from fellow CSers.

I try to go out and see what the world has to offer as much as possible - life would be too boring to stay at just one place. I enjoy meeting with people and exchanging travelling stories - I'm often amazed by how these funny reckless travel stories bring people together despite the difference in our culture - maybe it's exactly the cultural difference that draw us together. ok here please excuse my overuse of dashes! I'm a talkative person full of ideas, or at least i'd like to think of it this way.

I don't get much chance to travel around now due to my study but I want to use this platform as a way for me to interact with the world through conversations about cultures, beliefs, stories and more.

I am respectful, and I try my best in being considerate and amiable .

*I can only host female guests as I live with other people in the flat

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I surf to meet the people, experience the culture, and be a part of the place that I visit.

I started couchsurfing when I was first volunteering in Poland two years ago and continued to host people after returning to Vancouver. Hosting people really makes me appreciate the city that I live in. Now that I have moved back to Hong Kong, the city where I grew up, I would like to share with people the experience of what my hometown has to offer. From busy modern streets to mountains, beaches, fishing harbours to old towns - I enjoy going to places over and over for that I still get amazed by the city's beauty after almost 20 years of living here. My hope is that anyone whom I show the city to will leave this place sharing my appreciation for the city's beauty and its culture.

*I don’t live in HK at the moment but we can also walk around in the beautiful town of Oxford and discover what this town has to offer :)

Interests

I'm into outdoor activities. I'm not good at one particular thing or especially interested in any - I'm always open to trying new activities. Kiteboarding, surfing, windsurfing, sailing, bouldering, kayaking, paragliding ... you name it!

I also love arts. I play the piano, guitar (a little) and yangqin (a Chinese instrument); I love singing ( though not exactly a good singer); I like drawing, dancing and basically everything related to creativity.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteered in Europe the previous two summers, solo travelled after the volunteering programs with only my backpack, making friends from every place I went.
