ABOUT ME

Warm, loving, spontaneous, lazy but hardworking, funny (so am told), entertaining, sociable, sincere, straightforward (crazy in a nice way apparently). Here is a day in the life episode to help know me a little better...Yesterday I woke up at my friend's house, which had been very successfully warmed, by the house warming party the night before. Remembering the beautiful fun filled madness and mayhem fondly, I made breakfast surrounded by chatting friends. Later, I took a walk on the beach and was struck again by the blessings of where I live, it was awe-inspiringly stunning, with the wild wind, and the setting sun, and the crashing waves. After that I remembered, just in time, that I had a radio interview to do, where my diatribe in support of the arts brought a tear to the eye of a fellow guest, and (due to the mellow but nevertheless present hangover) I was convinced to sing live on air (bad, bad idea) A trip to the cinema followed, where the movie was good enough to send me back to work on my script for a few hours before bedtime, because some day I will have the budget to make a great movie. Oh, yes I will.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined a few years ago and hosted many beautiful people then... Morrocco was a bit of a CS trial, then... life got too busy for surfing or hosting... I'm ba-aaack.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted some lovely people, then thought it would be a good idea to go Csurfing in Morrocco, it was testing... short story-was nearly married off twice, and apparently refusal is offensive, then one of our hosts proposed. Very enlightening travel experience, for me and my best friend, definately crash course in culture and society in Morrocco. You live, you learn. We were looked after very well by our generous hosts, in spite of the heated debates brought up by this sometimes confusing cultural difference. Morrocco is an exciting, stunning, hot spot.

Pulp Fiction. Walk the line. The Matrix( inc. reloaded and revolutions). The Bourne trilogy. Forest Gump. Casablanca. Guess who's coming to dinner. The secret. The Notebook. The Bucket List. I love all sorts of music, have an x factor addiction, but no TV so get my fix online, love to sing mellow jazz and blues. Favourite read The Time Travellers Wife, all Grisham, all Douglas Adams.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Just one is too limited-can't choose between my son's birth, or my grandson's birth, so how about a few less momentus things-Jumped out of an airplane once, tried surfing but I'm a hilarious disastor, ran a marathon in a team, whoop, whoop, created a show in Melbourne, didn't die in traffic in Morrocco (or get married off),fell in love in/with Paris (stories, stories, stories), partied hard in Barcelona (every visit) la sagradia de familia is what I call amazing, loved living in London, survived my pretty woman escapade in New York, Boston got me drunk on dirty martinis with my Dad, was part of the St. Paddy's Day Parade in Rhode Island, stalked Joe the puppet in Prague (so brought him home), next....
