CURRENT MISSION

After years of study (high school and university) I want to travel. My uncle always talked about his work in New Zealand. That's the place I want to learn more about myself and what I want in live, without the opinions of my loved ones!

ABOUT ME

Oké, I'm not so good at this, but this already speaks for myself. I am a person who has been studying for 6 years now and have not quite an idea what to do with my Master in Education and Child studies. My tunnelvision of my life has stopped.
For the rest I am almost 25 years old, and love to help others. I have been living in a student house with 18 others for 6 years, so I'm used to al lot of different people and share about anything, only not my 12m2 bedroom.
Every year I try to go to the gym to create a amazing tight body, I try. But I just don't like it (this time I have to accept it!).
I'm also working two jobs: at a day care and with mentally disabled people and autism. Working with mentally disabled people is really my passion! I do it with all my heart.

In my rare spare time I love to read a good book, hanging out with friends and family, or doing things by myself (shopping, walking, biking). I also like going out to a bar and dance al night long. This is also something I really want to experience in New Zealand!

I really want to learn more about other country's and how the people live there. Maybe it's really cliché to say, but for me it's also true.

I've never really made such a trip... scared? YES
Too scared to try? NOOOOO!
I never give up, never! Trust me!

PHILOSOPHY

I want to look at people with an open mind whatever their culture, appearance, religion and education. Everyone is an unique person with good and bad qualities.
Respect and accept others would make the world a better place. I try to begin in a small group. The people around me.
I live my live to attribute to a more social en loving world!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've never heard about couchsurfing before I decided to go on my 3months trip to New Zealand. (I'm leaving on the first of february and I'm heading for Auckland first!) I've been told about it by some of my friends and they recommended me to join the CS project. I love the idea that I can stay with a person that I can trust and who likes to show me around and help me find my way in their country. When I come back from my trip, I would love to show people around my city and have a drink with them. I don't know yet if I can host people myself as well, since my room is quite little and I also live with lots of other people (I've got 17 roommates, so that's busy!)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't done couchsurfing before. I know people who done it, and who are also here on the CouchSurfing site.
The were all very very positive, and said I really had to try it.
