I have always been intrigued by couch surfing. I have finally decided to take the plunge and try to travel more than ever. As I write this I have never couch-surfed, but I plan to make it happen a lot more often.

I am an avid skateboarder and snowboarder. Skating has been my passion for most of my life. I also enjoy the art of making and watching films. Live music of any kind is an adventure in itself. Growing up in East Tennessee has taught me to love anything and everything outdoors. Hiking, Kayaking, Canoeing, Climbing, etc.

I like a large variety of music, so it is hard to pick favorites. But, I find myself listening to Thrice, Rise Against, Alexisonfire, Modest Mouse, and Built to Spill quite a lot.

Movies I really like are The Graduate, Into the Wild, Whiplash, Shawshank Redemption, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, and Good Will Hunting.

I need to read more before I could have a good list. I greatly enjoyed The Death of Ivan Ilich by Leo Tolstoy when I read it for an english class however.

Canoed a section of the Buffalo River for a week with my Boy Scout troop when I was 15.

Obtained my Eagle Scout award, the highest award in Scouting.

Found my way on top of a building in Nashville.
