I grew up in a small town on the Iowa/Illinois border. I went to school in Chicago, Illinois at DeVry University. Upon completion of my degree I decided to put myself out there. I applied and was accepted to teach english in Ecuador through a program called WorldTeach. From that trip I met people from all walks of life with different stories and interesting perspectives on life. I guess I joined this site to continue to meet interesting people while traveling. I am a down to earth guy and look forward to making new friends on my travels.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

As I said in the about me section I love meeting new people with different life views and experiences. Regardless of financial situation I'd prefer to couch surf in the hopes of making friends and the very least having stimulating conversations on my travels.

Interesses

I enjoy social gatherings, I don't drink alcohol but I enjoy social events. When I go out I like exploring non touristy locations. I do enjoy sporting events and the party aspects of going to a game. I love singing karaoke and feel it is the best way blow off steam.

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

I took a 15 hour boat ride in a canoe to an amazonian village on the ecuadorian purivan border alone with very limited spanish background. The cool thing with this story is it was christmas time so the few hostels in town were booked. The kindness of strangers was unbelievable as they set a tent up for me as well as a sleeping bag and pillow. It was a cool experience and maybe another reason I want to couch surf!
