I'm currently traveling through Peru and Chile climbing, practicing my Spanish and exploring. Other than South America I live in the mountains of North Carolina with great people and my garden. Always looking to learn more about people and what they love to do.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a week on a river trip down the upper Rio Marañon in Peru while at flood stage. Huge waves and big portages made for a wild ride. Very humbled by the water and look forwards to the next run!

Teach, Learn, Share

I play the ukulele and happy to teach and share music. I'm happy to teach English and share creative culinary kitchen times. I would like to practice more Spanish and what makes where you live why you live there.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I share my excitement in learning everywhere I go (language, culture, hobbies, music, etc.). I bring a positive vocabulary and thankful attitude with me, and will be that extra motivator in helping with whatever I can.
