My name is Zach Ryan and I am a graduate from the University of Florida who is planning to pursue a career in the medical field. I received my degree in exercise physiology with a minor in leadership where I was educated on everything from preventing/caring for athletic injuries to how to connect with individuals from all walks of life. I played lacrosse my whole life and competed collegiately for 3 years before shifting my focus to leadership-centered extracurricular activities. I am a hard-working fitness enthusiast who is just wrapping up a job as a wildland firefighter in Colorado, USA. I was able to work as a firefighter in the wilderness, as well as learn a great deal about trees and timber use in the Rocky Mountains. Next up I will be attaining my wilderness EMT certification this winter then working at a ski resort until next summer. I always have a smile on my face and will never say no to an adventure set before me. Two of my greatest passions include EVERYTHING outdoors (hunting, fishing, hiking, backpacking, kayaking, ALL OF IT) and travelling as much of the world as possible.
