Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Lately I have just been wanting to meet up with people, talk about life, hear CS stories, explore, or just go on an adventure.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Scenery is really interesting and the cultures of places is really fun, but it is only half of the picture. I can learn little on my own, but with guides and help I can (attempt) to learn about places from people with years of experiences.

I have hosted 2 times and stayed with 7 or so other CS'ers.

Interests

I really enjoy nature, philosophy, learning, going on adventures, cooking, meeting new people, fishing, and many other things.

I like to be active and I really enjoy actively seeking knowledge and understanding.

Conversations are home for me.

I can tell you what it feels like or looks like to be in nature but you may never REALLY know until you Pack some bags and go out into the woods, beach, mountains, or whatever else draws you in.

I am also a very amateur photographer and blogger (if I can even be called those)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
If you ask me in person, you may start a very long conversation.
I really like the Killers, Pink Floyd, Modest Mouse, Sigur Ros, Bethel, Skrillex, Explosions in the Sky, many soundtracks, etc...
I am a big believer in the right timing. An encouragement, a rebuke, a song, or silence given at the right time makes the difference.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hitchhiked to CA from Indiana and back for 6 months (I lived at a Co-Op in Santa Barbara for around 4 of those months).

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe in unconditional love, nature, friendship, and love.
I believe in Jesus and follow Him around wherever He takes me.
Learning is great and I like learning about...well, most anything. Many days I would like nothing more than to have a nice, solid conversation.
Last note: I also really enjoy interviewing people. I would rather do that than watch a movie any day. Much wisdom to be learned that way...
