Hi There! I'm Zach, and I'm traveling around the world with my girlfriend, Nurtaç. We currently live in Shanghai, China. In winter of 2017, we will be traveling around Japan and hope to stay with some awesome couchsurfing hosts while we're here.

Nurtaç and I have been interested in Couchsurfing for a long time but are new to the process. We are excited to meet you and share some life experiences.

We are really thoughtful guests who care about the boundaries and privacy of our host. We clean up after ourselves and we won't be begging you for a meal.

兴趣

Nurtaç and I have a huge variety of interests. I do a lot of theater (mostly improvisational comedy) in Shanghai, China. We love learning languages and spend a lot of time doing so. We like deep conversations about philosophy or religion, but also enjoy chilling, listening to music, playing games, having a few drinks, and having a good time.

We like tons of music, movies, and books. At the time of writing this, I am reading a book about Leonardo da Vinci. Nurtaç is reading Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut.

In 2015, I serendipitously became a banker at the board game Monopoly 2015 World Championships. It's a story I love to share, especially at storytelling events.

Nurtaç and I love to do language exchanges. We are learning Japanese and I am learning Turkish. We both speak fluent English and Chinese, and Nurtaç speaks native Turkish.
