About Me
When someone is on a mission to learn, it is hard to teach him.
When someone is open to being taught, the world becomes his teacher.
I love languages, cultures, and connecting with people. I love other things, too, like traveling, listening to music, laughing, and writing, but human connection is what makes life worth living. I enjoy life and try not to take moments for granted.
If you ask me to describe myself, I'll probably tell you to ask my friends and family instead. I tend to be quiet and observant - at first; when I'm involved in a good conversation, all bets are off. I'm an open book and as much as I want to share my story, I want to hear (and be a part of) the stories of those around me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
This seems like a dream. One of those concepts that will never happen because it feels too good to be true. I like trusting in the good of people and a system like this encourages that. It's a wonderful network of people wanting to help each other, connect, and lend a hand to like-minded people.
I'm here because it always feels good to save money, but what feels better in my experience is to save memories. What better way to do that than here: CouchSurfing enriches people's lives in ways they couldn't imagine, with people whom they otherwise would probably never meet.

Music, Movies, and Books
From all over the world. Mostly English (due to my upbringing). I love a good story. If the music/movie/book can tell a good story, that's awesome! If it can do it in a way that connects to me, I might cry, but I love that feeling.
Music: fun songs to sing along, good rhythm. Electroswing. Jazz. A little rap. Hip hop. A lot of pop. Some sad stuff, too, just to mix it up.
Movies: action, comedy, romance (but not too much), sci-fi, fantasy, superhero, ... Just not scary movies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I backpacked through Europe (~10 countries) over 2 months with my brother. One of the most liberating things I've done, and one of the simplest. It wasn't always easy, but it was definitely worth it.
Teach, Learn, Share
As much as you can.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My spirit! My help. My stories, good and bad. My willingness to be a part of their lives, for however short a time. I can share myself - that may be different things to different people - and whatever I can offer.
