Grew up in rural Central Pennsylvania and attended nearby Penn State University.

Lived in multiple states and regions of the USA including Colorado, North Carolina, Texas, and Ohio.

My main interests are film, sciences, croquet, behavioral economics, statistical analysis, and OF COURSE traveling to new places to meet new people and learn about their cultural identities!

Starting in August 2019, I will take a year off from life in Pittsburgh to travel. The goal is to take my current knowledge of film editing and writing and create short pieces on the places I travel and live in order to show how accessible and unique other cultures can be, especially if you're willing to live like a local.

Climbed from the coast of Tenerife, Spain to the peak of the Volcano Teide (12,200 ft) in a 15 day span, meeting and camping with new friends and climbing some lava flows.
