I'm an aspiring writer, finishing up my senior year at the Hawaiian Academy Of Arts And Science in Pahoa, Hawaii. I've lived in many different parts of the Continental US, but I've been here on the Big Island for about 6 years now. My housing situation makes me unable to host for the time being, but in a few months that should change.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really want to travel, but I also want to meet new people who are visiting Hawaii. My teacher recommended I try this site, and I'm really looking forward to learning what it's all about and meeting interesting new peoples.

Interests

My two great interests are writing and adventuring. I love exploring new places, especially things out of reach of everyday civilization. I also enjoy reading and biking.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just one? Alright. I once biked roughly 35 miles from the top of Mauna Loa Strip Road all the way to bottom of the Volcano National Park with some friends. It was grueling, and my bike had a bit of mechanical troubles through the last leg, but I have to say biking down the switchbacks while looking out of fields of cooled lava that give way to a beautiful ocean is probably the best visual memory I have.
