I am originally from the United States, I moved to Rio after finishing university, where I studied Global Affairs and Spanish at George Mason University.

Currently I own a business called Jacarandá International Volunteering Experience (JIVE) with my best friend. Our job entails receiving and accommodating foreign volunteers from all over the globe who wish to give back to less fortunate communities. Our volunteers work in favelas/communities in areas such as: Teaching English, Community Development, Gardening, Childcare and Sports all over Rio de Janeiro. Check it out! www.jivebrasil.com
