ABOUT ME

My wife and I live off grid. We built our house and burn wood for heat during the long cold vermont winters. We have solar panels and a battery bank for electricity. Our fridge is propane. I play keyboard in a band in Burlington Vermont. I've been snowboarding since the 80's. Recently, I'v been hooked on surfing and am planning a trip to Costa Rica in Feb. I love pizza and beer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Because I live off grid in the woods, i have a lot of couch surfing experience with my friends in Burlington VT when I can't make the hour drive home.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After i graduated college i bought 60 acres of forest property in central Vermont. My friends and I lived in tents while we built a cordwood masonry round house out of N. White Ceder trees that were growing on site. I've been living off grid ever since.
