About Me

I'm a self-described world-traveler. Through the kindness of our Couchsurfing tribe, I have visited more than 100 countries. My favorite part of Couchsurfing is to give back to the community and offer my house, my time, and my friendship to bring great people together.

I'm active and inquisitive by nature, so weekends and evenings are spent running around Town Lake, going swimming in Barton Springs, heading out to stand up paddle board on the river, go rock climbing in Barton Greenbelt.

I also like to read and I like to stay up-to-date on current events both domestic and foreign affairs.

I ask that if you are requesting to stay with me you have a few references (both for hosting our CS friends and staying with CS hosts). I have been very fortunate to stay with some great people all over the world, but I give a lot back to the CouchSurfing community as well. If you are really part of our tribe, you give more than you take, which is why I love CouchSurfing!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Couchsurfing is the best way to get to know a new city, new culture, and meet new friends.

Hosting: I love to host for a few days. Austin is AMAZING. I like to show Couchsurfers the cool spots to make it a magical visit.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’m an easygoing, thoughtful traveler who genuinely enjoys connection, good conversation, and shared experiences. I bring curiosity, respect, and a grounded presence wherever I go.

Practically, I’m happy to share:

Great conversation — about travel, culture, real estate, business, life design, or simply what makes a place special to the people who live there.

Local perspective exchange — I love learning how you experience your city, and I’m equally happy to share insights from Austin, Colorado, and my travels around the world.

A calm, considerate guest — clean, punctual, communicative, and low-maintenance. I’m the kind of guest who treats your space better than my own.

Meals, coffee, or a walk — I don’t drink alcohol, but I enjoy good food, morning coffee, long walks, and meaningful conversations.

Skills & stories — I work in commercial real estate and entrepreneurship, and I’m always glad to share insights, brainstorm ideas, or simply swap stories about paths taken and lessons learned.

Good energy — I prioritize health, movement, gratitude, and presence. Whether it’s a morning walk, a run, or a quiet reset after travel, I bring a positive, grounded vibe.

I’m just as happy meeting up as I am being hosted—coffee, a walk, a local recommendation, or a shared meal are perfect. Couchsurfing, to me, is about human connection first.

If you enjoy hosting someone who is respectful, curious, self-aware, and genuinely appreciative of the people they meet, I think we’d get along well.
