I live outside of washington DC. Ive been lucky enough to have traveled a lot, especially for an american. Unfortunately, i work a boring 9-5, but when i get the chance to break out of that for a bit i like to leave town and adventure. Hiking, going to the beach, heading into the city, or exploring somewhere new.

I like to think im pretty laid back, but i can get really passionate about things sometimes. I like to learn a lot, im always exploring the internet chasing after my newest interest.

My account has been active since 2014 when I was backpacking with a friend in europe, but he was against the idea of couch surfing when it came down to it. Now that i have the chance for some solo travel, id like to give it a shot.

I worked at shark research lab in the bahamas over the summer once. It was a pretty awesome experience to live on the beach for a month and swim with sharks on a near daily basis.
