I'm a student going to Columbia College Chicago for a major in Cultural Studies and Fiction Writing, so in a nutshell my writing is inspired btthe beautiful places/people I meet through travels. I work at Thalia Hall, a concert venue in Pilsen, Chicago, and I'm also a new model for Lily's Talent Agency. Between all the different projects I keep myself busy with, a travel break is a must, and if I can meet some locals even better.

Traveling can be a pain in the wallet, and when you're trying to travel for awhile it can almost seem impossible. Couchsurfing not only takes a little bit of weight of my shoulder, but puts me in touch with some amazing people I may not have had the pleasure to meet if I stayed in some tourist trap.

兴趣

I love to skateboard, whether it's cruising or doing tricks. Basketball is another favorite sport of mine to play. I spend a lot of my free time writing, rewriting, editing, and submitting my stories for publication, but if that fails me, I'll turn on my Vox amp and rip away at the bass guitar.

Music, where do I begin? My go to genre is anything under the metal spectrum, but I change it up constantly from rap to singer-songwriter tracks. My favorite band at the moment would have to be Sleep. I'm a bit illiterate when it comes to movies, but Shawshank Redemption takes the cake for me. And last but not least, books; oh how I love them. I'm constantly reading, but a couple favorites would have to be Fahrenheit 451 and Frankenstein.

Whether it's about writing or cultural studies, I have a healthy amount of knowledge for either subject. Between all the reading I do and studying philosophers like Stuart Hall and Michael Foucault, I like to say I have some experience.
