About Me

CURRENT MISSION

The sea is calling down from the mountains. My Mission: Is to go back to sea.

ABOUT ME

After bouncing around on the ground for the first half of my life I went to sea and bounced around on the ocean for a few years. After finishing up my tour in the Navy (the last three of which were in Sicily) I returned to the mountains to finish my degree. After having spent years skiing and soaking up all the mountains had to offer I find the call of the sea to loud to ignore.

PHILOSOPHY

We only get one go 'round. Do not wait until tomorrow. You only get so many.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Let's be honest; if sociology degrees were pathways to lucrative careers I would be finding myself booking rooms on Expedia. That being said I do not regret pursuing what I love rather than money, and I get to meet great people on the way.
Pragmatic, spiritual, with a lust for the future, and a reverence for the past.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Haven't had one yet. I had a friend who was stationed overseas who had some people stay with him. That is how I found out about CS.org.

Interests

Skiing, lacrosse, the ocean, technology, the mountains, everything in between except religion, bigotry, racism, and unethical economic practices of the espousing of.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I skied done volcanic ash on Mt. Etna on the Island of Sicily, and got it on tape. Not sure if anyone has don it before or since. Also, my buddy snowboarded the run.
