Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When fellow travelers open their homes to other travelers there is this opportunity to share stories and learn little tidbits about this vast world we live in. Currently I'm a surfer but I hope to be a host once I settle so I can keep these fruitful transactions going forward.

The Fibonocci numbers, (1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,...) a sequence of numbers created by adding the two previous terms (1+1 =2, 1+2=3, 2+3=5) can be used to convert from Miles to Kilometers b/c the ratio of subsequent terms is about 1.6 (= 5/3 ~ 8/5). i.e. 30 mph -> 50 km/h, 50 mph -> 80 km/h, etc.

So, if your a Math Nerd you can use one of those patterns you know to avoid a speeding ticket.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd love to share tales of my travels to Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi and Wwoofing around Washington State. Also, I like to pass on my understanding of physics and the cosmos to those whom are interested. I also am quite a finagler and can fix various things.
