Meet 24 year old Zaid , a basketball enthusiast and avid traveler from Colombo, Sri Lanka. Born and raised in the bustling city of colombo, I have always had a love for sports, with basketball being a particular favorite.

Other than that, I like to explore new places and cultures. Traveling has always been a passion of mine, and I have been to many places around sri lanka on sea level and high up in the mountains. I love immersing myself in different environments and meeting new people. Surfing is another hobby I enjoy, and I find nothing more exhilarating than catching a wave and feeling the rush of the ocean 🌊😋

Iam known for being a friendly and approachable person. I get along with locals and tourists very well, and I consider that as a big strength of mine.
I have a natural knack for making others feel at ease and is always ready for meeting new friends and helping them during their time in Sri Lanka.

I have made loads of lasting friendships with people I have met in sri lanka and I always leave a positive spirit in all of them. One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I have done is initiating Solo travel to many parts in sri lanka, Solo travel among locals is not a popular option, I felt nervous in the beginning as well, So far I have gone on so many Solo travels to locations like weligama, Mirissa, galle, Unawatuna..
And I have made friends from France, germany, England, Australia and much more. I have had lunch and dinners togethers, travelled, surfed , partied with them all night, watched fireworks on the new years night, had drinks together and shared so many stories between us.. It is such a fulfilling experience to do this , Even though I said I travelled solo, I was always having company of people, except for when I had to leave for the wash room xD

My point is I feel so much alive when I do this, for me travelling is what keeps me alive and the friendships and stories I share is the reward I get for my effort.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have alot of exposure to accounting and basketball because I have spent alot of time learning and working on them. So, if necessary I can give you pieces of financial insights/Tips on spending and expenses in sri lanka as tourists may not know the exact cost of expenses in sri lanka. I can also teach surfing for people who have no exposure to it at all, and most definitely everyone traveling with me will have a chance to listen to interesting stories from me.
Also, I am a really good basketball player.

Just the same way of effort I put in, my travel buddies also have shared alot of experiences, stories, drinks and food with me.
