Getting that elusive Ph.D. degree and getting down to writing the books that I have always wanted to write - in all, write, write, write and more write!

ABOUT ME

I am currently finishing my Ph.D. in Cultural Studies.

I work as an ethnographic researcher, collecting people's stories of their experiences of living in big cities. That is perhaps the best part of my existence.

I love to experiment with writing forms and styles. Playing around with punctuation marks is my fetish. Some day, I want to write poems using only punctuation marks.

I love cooking and have been rated very highly on my culinary skills and culinary outputs. Cooking is about instinct and patterns and knowing what combinations can work and cannot work! I also indulge in reading and experimenting with organic foods and organic, healthy and wholesome cooking.

Love hosting people. Ever since I moved to Bangalore, have had quite a few guests coming over and living for short and long durations.

Have recently taken to running. Enjoying every bit of it. My mantra is - running matters never mind whether you are first or last in the race!

Finally, love to read and experiment with herbs and natural food products as medicine. Am quite a health freak!
