I'm a serial hobbyist. I surf, ski, hike, play video/board games or pretty much anything people suggest. I currently design board games for a living, but I'm an outdoor spirit. Six years in the Navy allowed me to travel the world and expose myself to dozens of cultures and I couldn't be more thankful for the experience. I want to continue traveling and seeing other parts of the world before my bones can't keep up with my sense of adventure.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm constantly traveling to new cities for conventions for work or other adventures like ski trips. I'm looking for a service that not only gives me a place to stay, but people to meet. Travel brochures and guest kiosks can only get you so far. It's the locals that show you where the real excitement is. I also love meeting new people with different ideas than myself.
