ABOUT ME

I am an outgoing individual who enjoys embracing new experiences, new, good people, and new places.

Following my summer abroad in 2005 in Rome and Florence, Italy, I've had a major travel bug. I fell in love with the independence of travel and surviving in a foreign country for an extended period of time.

9 years later, I am back in Italy.

Before returning to Italy, I traveled to Europe to visit other parts - including Amsterdam, London & Paris.

I lived in Poland in 2011. I have since visited Instanbul and Budapest. I trekked the Tatras Mountains and stradled the border at the summit.

In 2012-13, I lived in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil and traveled to Singapore and South Thailand.

Friends describe me as a genuine person with a great sense of humor, who's hard-working and adventurous.

PHILOSOPHY

Carpe diem - I spent much of my former years thinking that if I set out on a plan, life will listen and all will follow perfectly. I quickly learned this is not the case, and since have embraced new experiences more wholeheartedly.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a couch to offer a visitor. I also couch surf when I travel. I surfed in Singapore and it was a great experience! I host surfers in Southern California.

Hiked up Pedra da Gavea in Rio de Janeiro and...almost reached the top. But it was wet rock and we were high up..and I was scared...but I tried!
