Soviet time russian movies (Eldar Rezanov's works, TV serial "17 spring moments". And other: "In the name of father", "Good Thief", "The Thomas Crown Affair", "The Painted Veil", "Crash", "In Bruges", "Shrink", "Gost Writer", "Kings Speach" etc.
Music...different music...Nina Simone, U2, Depeche Mode, REM, the Nationals, Bueana Vista Social Club, Bi2, Boris Grebenshchikov, LoJo, Arcade Fire, Simple Minds, A-HA, Massive Attack, Sigur Ros, AIR, Lhasa, Joy Division, Faithless.
Literature...at this moment russian classics like Bulgakov, Lev Tosltoj and non-Russians like J.D.Salinger, Knut Hamsun, Charles Bokovski, James Joyce...and do not mind discovering new.
