I am Zaniar. I'm happily living in Vaasa with my beloved wife. I was a data analyst back in Iran and learned how to work with numbers and data. I was working in MTNirancell, which is a large-scale company in Iran. Now, I have migrated to Finland because I wanted to continue my education in the Artificial Intelligence major.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet new people and hear their experiences, and maybe sometimes I go with them and share the new experiences with them. I am not a starter guy who says and plans everything to go out and have a journey, so I usually listen to other people to tell me their stories, and then I go and experience them myself.
For example, I didn't know there had been a meteor here in Vaasa some time around 250 million years ago. when my friend came to visit, he made us go and visit the place, which was incredible.

Science fiction movies like Christopher Nolan's movies and also David Fincher's movie, especially the movie SEVEN.
And I like novel books. I like to read one or two pages every night before sleeping.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As I said, I really like long walks and cycling. One time, suddenly I decided to go for a bike ride and when I got home I realized I went 25 kilometers in 2 hours and I didn't realize the time.
