ABOUT ME

I am a gap year student from England, soon to be studying English and Art History at Sussex University which is near Brighton. I like chatting to friends, new or old, and exploring anywhere I am lucky enough to get to! I am a vegetarian. I have been lucky enough to spend some of the last year travelling, first inter railing in Europe, then visiting New York, then spending two months in South East Asia, then heading along the west coast of America. I have had an amazing time and am very eager to travel more!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to the whole couchsurfing thing but am looking forward to getting involved after hearing lots of wicked reviews of it from friends who've tried it.

Interests

Drinking cider&black in pub gardens
Having hours to stroll around art galleries
Swimming in the sea
Reading a really good book on a train
Baking cakes for tea parties
Cinema and theatre trips with my Dad, or anyone for that matter
Sewing things I won't get round to wearing
Drunk dancing to both good and shameful music

Books: Anything by Daphne DuMaurier or Jane Austen, but particularly 'Rebecca' and 'Pride and Prejudice' A mix of the others might include...'East of Eden' by John Steinbeck, 'Twilight' by Stephenie Meyer, 'The Great Gastby' by F Scott Fitzgerald and 'Alice in Wonderland'.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching the sunrise while swimming in the sea with some of my closest friends on Koh Phanghan, Thailand, earlier this summer, was pretty amazing.
