We are a married couple have been together for almost 10 years. We live in Australia but Geoff moved from England and Zara moved from NZ so neither of us are natives here.
We are both pretty chill people and we would be happy to exchange some cooking (Geoff is the chef but Zara can also cook) etc in exchange for accommodation.
We are into music, very eclectic, so anything really. Playing music, listening, dancing.
At our place, we have another housemate and 2 dogs so we are comfortable with Pets. Also, if you have kids, that's cool too.
We want to be out and about seeing and doing things while we are on holiday (for the most part) but we are also interested in meeting people and sharing stories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We just joined couchsurfing because we are heading to South America for 6 weeks. We're really excited to be going there and have been checking out accommodation and thought this would be a great way to meet some local people!

When we get back we will definitely host some people here in Melbourne too!

Music, Movies, and Books

We like all sorts of music, it would be easier saying what we don't like which is probably country music and really really heavy metal with only screaming. Geoff's favourite is Led Zeppelin and Zara's favourite is Tool.
Movies, anything really.. except Twilight and Drive haha.
Books.. Zara has pretty much read all Anne Rice and Geoff likes Clarkson.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Booked a South America Holiday! It's our dream destination.
But also jumping out of an airplane was pretty amazing - Zara has done that twice, Geoff wouldn't do that haha.

Teach, Learn, Share

We are both trying to learn Spanish for our trip. Geoff is good at fixing things if needed! Zara can play a bit of guitar and sing a bit.
We would like to share tales of life and travel.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We are both pretty easy going people. We're both good cooks so we can share food. We're interested in a lot of things and are pretty open minded. This trip is not really about the partying although, we don't mind partaking in a drink or 2, just can't afford a hangover with the limited time!
We've been to a fair few places round the world combined so we can share travel stories.
