About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Collecting information and tresures to my next trip

ABOUT ME

I'm 25 years old and I live in São Paulo since 2001. Before that I lived in Curitiba for 1 year and then I came to study here. I'm very happy with the city and friends I made. We go out to drink a few beers at least every Tuesday. I like music a lot and go to new shows always that's possible. I work from home as webdesigner, what gives me very flexible working hours and some long weekends to travel through the "wild nature". It's a perfect day when I can swim at a waterfall, make a track in the forest and rest at the beach by the sunset. Simpathy it's a key word for me.

PHILOSOPHY

Always open to find better answers and questions...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Even though I'm just filling my profile now, I have had a lot of contact with couchsurfers and I'm sure its the best way to know a diferent country. I believe that only staying at the house of a local when you're traveling you'll have the oportunity to get to know special details from the other culture. Besides that, I apreciate to go round and talk, its a great pleasure for me to share what I know and think in order to learn things from someone else.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experience with couchsurfing is limited to the guests I had through my housemates profiles and I'm amazed by how easy and fun it was to co-host. I hope to travel by the end of the year and have the chance to meet more and more couchsurfers.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm reading "On the Road" by Jack Kerouac, great book! I like to listen to music and I tried to play guitar for a long time with no big success. I tend to know better about brazilian music, jazz, blues, rock and I find great to discover new sounds (besides I don't have a good memory for names).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived and worked in London as bartender at Covent Garden for 8 months in 2004 where I learned english... from there I bought a 30 days europass and has been in several cities in 40 days: Liverpool, Worcester, York, Paris, Amsterdam, Basel, Rheinfelden, Bern, Luzern, Vien, Venice, Rome, Florence, Lyon, Carcassone and Barcelona. Hope to make one of this through South America soon.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well... I know portuguese, english, un peu de français, e hablo un poquito de portuñol. I work with graphic and webdesign, so... I could always be handy on that. I like shows and I'm frequently well informed about them. And we have two guitars and some percussion at our living room, its always an oportunity to learn/teach something.
