ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Zaye. (In my references you will see I am called Zak, but I have changed my name from a male-gendered name to a more gender-neutral sounding one since I last couchsurfed)
I'm a gentle, slow-moving creature with a fondness for laughing and smiling big. Music and art are my life's passions; I play a variety of sound-makers, enjoy engaging with and producing visual arts, and love to dance.

PHILOSOPHY

Creating Beauty in the world. Learning lessons all the time. Feeling emotions, and letting them go. Maintaining personal integrity, losing it for a little bit, then reclaiming it. Living the truth, or tripping up, laughing at oneself, and then living the truth!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live in a shared house where hosting doesn't make sense.
So, I am participating right now by surfing!
Hoping to host in the future :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed at a co-housing home in Nelson, BC in 2011 for a few weeks with upwards of 10 or so housemates. It was a wonderful experience of social richness.
I stayed at a lovely lady's apartment in Toronto in 2012 - she trusted me to babysit her cats while she wasn't home for a few days. We met each other on my last night in Toronto - she was a wonderful absent and present host :)
Finally, I stayed at a loft in Toronto also in 2012 - had such a great time! Greg hosts the most wonderful people and I thank him very much for the social experience I enjoyed during that stay.
