About Me

I am passionate about aviation, history and the Asia-Pacific region.

Although I'm French you may have noticed that I have a Spanish name, and that's because I'm half-French, half-Peruvian.

I am very open-minded and I love Asia and more specifically everything related to the Japanese culture. I started learning Japanese by myself a few years ago, although I am not very good at it! haha!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To share stories about travels and to discover new people and places.

Interests

I am really into Asian food: Thai, Chinese and Japanese food.
I also know how to cook.

I have been a fan of Japanese mangas since I was 14 and love to talk about it.

And of course I love travelling, it's in my family's genes since many generations. I have lived in Wellington, New Zealand, for a year, and I have lived in Manilla, Philippines as an exchange student. I plan on keeping travelling this way.

Music, Movies, and Books

British & mystery novels and series:
Doctor Who, Sherlock (BBC) and Douglas Adam's "Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy".

Movies that have made a strong impression on me:
Interstellar, Amélie Poulain, Cloud Atlas and the Imitation Game.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Making several times the tour of New Zealand's south island. It's a magic place with nature at its best.

Recently I also did my first real solo trip in Thailand, South Korea and Japan, which for me is a challenge since I tend to be a bit anxious when by myself. But I really loved it, it gave me the opportunity to meet new people and I would love to renew the experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I really like speaking in English, I sometimes talk to my friends in France in English to help them improve their level.
I can also teach you about French culture and history.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My love for travel and basically anything you would want to know about my experiences or my home country.

Countries I’ve Visited
