ABOUT ME

I am a nursing student by day and saxophonist by night. I use music to pay for my nursing degree and bring a ray of sunshine to the world. After a decade of working in hospitals, I can honestly say I know what I want and where I am going. Direction in life is not the problem, I have a very healthy work ethic that I apply to all aspects of my life. I tend to have more old fashioned values and morals. In my free time I can be caught at the local farmer's markets and cooking/ baking. If I can get away from Tampa I go to Stetson University for the Music. I am not a starbucks coffee drinker, more of a locally owned business coffee shop kind of gal. I love to laugh and eat good food. I love holidays and decorating for them.

PHILOSOPHY

Wow this is more deep of a question then I thought- As of right now everyone should try to play Tenor Sax at least once in their life. There is a grand scheme to life, I just wish I understood it. I am a nurse for a means to live but music is the reason to live.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never used this site before August 2011 but have couch surfed a few times along with hosting most of the time. I find a couch by a friend of a friend of a friend- you can see where this goes and if I see someone in need- I help. I am divorced with a touch of loneliness and hosting a place for someone has always filled that void.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a classical musician so I tend to love classical music. Any movie is a good movie for me. I loved reading Patti Stanger's new Millionare Matchmaker book. Lately the books I tend to read are cook books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Meteor Crater in Arizona- breath taking, especially for a sci-fi person like myself.

Because of my medical background I am very helpful with medical questions. Also after working in a music store I can honestly say there is a lot to music but I understand most of it. If I do not know the answer, I at least know where to go to find one.
