Hi, I'm Zbigniew and I'm from Poland and yes, it's a polish name and it's allright if you can't pronounce it :D I have friends that know me a good couple years and still get it wrong so just call me Zee ;)

I'm an engineer, finished aerospace engineering studies - rocket science FTW :P

And I guess that having a profile on this website shows very well that I love travelling and meeting new people from all over the world.

Since I'm a foodie in your request describe a dish from your country - just so I know you actually read these few sentences here :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm just starting here, so bear with my clumsy beginnings ;)

Recently I moved to a larger flat so finally I can participate in the CS more actively - come and visit me in Warsaw.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I usually travel to visit my friends, couchsurfing with them, getting to know the cities they live in from the local, less touristic side.

I like to read a lot too, different genres. Favourite author would be Douglas Adams I guess. Or Stephen King. Or Jules Verne I loved reading him when I was small. I guess his books put me in a direction to become an engineer.

Cooking with locals is I guess the thing I'd like to learn about. After all from our trips we remember mostly the people we met and the food we ate. Not the sights or monuments ;)

I can teach you how to make pierogi. If you've ever been to Poland you know that this is one of the best foods ever ;)
