Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just registered here, so this far we've mostly participated by entertaining CS guests of our friends and hosting fellow EVE players at our couch.

Interests

I am interested in arts, natural sciences, handcrafts, role-playing, EVE, programming.

She likes to dance, read, role-play and EVE.

We both also go to metal/rock concerts regularly.

Naturally we both also enjoy traveling to exotic places..

Music, Movies, and Books

A long list. Some bands we both really have liked seeing live are Kiuas, Apulanta, Maija Vilkkumaa and Viikate.

Other bands I like include Amorphis, Iron Maiden, Sabaton, In Flames, Judas Priest.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most memorable experiences was in Zanzibar, Kendwa beach. There, in a distant end of a tropical island was a finnish sauna. We, finns and saunalovers as we are, booked the sauna and naturally went to the sea between sauna sessions. There I was, standing in Indian Ocean, in moonlight, fresh from finnish sauna, and the water was so clear I could see all the way to the bottom, my feet in the white sand.

Now, that's an enjoyable mix-up of cultures if I've ever seen one.

Teach, Learn, Share

Things I know: photography, handcrafts (mostly plastic, soft metals and wood), EVE, various other things. She does samba, including building and sewing samba costumes together.

I have a small workshop in our apartment where I craft.
