ABOUT ME

I like to explore the boundaries of life. Comfort zones are fenced paddocks which we can confine ourselves to for life if we wish to, but fortunately nothing is more exhilarating than jumping that fence and disappearing into the unknown.

Like every other person I'm here to explore the infinite experiences available to us, and have a bloody good time doing it. Possibility interests me, potential interests me, stasis and stagnancy turn me off.

As for my accolades, which I hope don't define me, I'm an englishman 'studying' in Melbourne for a year, which basically means drinking far too much wine and making a damned fool of myself half the time. Exploring the country and the uhmm culture, which isn't too far from home, you guys are just a bit funnier and a lot easier to talk too. Good weather and beautiful beaches do that to a man I spose. So far I've made my way upto Queensland and paddled in the waterfalls and barrier reef aplenty, had a swim with a sea turtle and attempted to high five him, explored the great ocean road and spent two weeks on Bondi Beach in Sydney.

Anyhow I'm studying Arts and sciences here, mainly the former in Melbourne, while back in the UK I'm a physicist. The universe excites me, and physics is really just the study of the rules which the universe plays by, if any at all. Gazing up at the night sky and imagining the billions of galaxies out there, all full of solar systems and certainly planets with some other sentient being staring right back at you is one of my most cherished pastimes. Outside of my course I'm an avid reader and writer, I love literature and philosophy, they broaden the mind and open us up to new experiences. Reading Dostoyevsky is almost like meeting the man himself.

Snowboarding is a favorite of mine, and more recently surfing has got me hooked after a weekend in Lorne riding a few waves and falling off a lot more.

PHILOSOPHY

For that I look to men far older and smarter than myself, a few tidbits which I'm still trying to live by.
