ABOUT ME

I am a class teacher in Denver, Colorado, where I just finished my third year teaching. I'm also studying cello and play in a local folk/rock band. I live with an awesome group of individuals.

I practice freedom, forgiveness and peace.

PHILOSOPHY

I always figure, if you're not in love, you're not paying attention. So I try to keep my ear to the ground and listen. Then everything is a kiss. Kissing and bowing, like fingers clasped. Sunrise that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I've only had the (delightful) opportunity to meet other couchsurfers while traveling, but I hope to host soon as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My introduction to CS was a five-day stay with the Thundera Collective in London. On couple of nights, I found myself happily hunkering down in the living room to sleep alongside no less than seven couchsurfers! This, in a flat of 3-4 proper residents. The generosity of my hosts with their couches was obvious. It was the generosity of their trust, their curiosity, and their deep interest in human community, that really made an impression on me.

I have not had many occasions to meet other couchsurfers since this trip, but I have always looked forward to the next time.
