Join Couchsurfing to see ZEBRA48’s full profile. It’s free!
A long term resident of The Hague, I live in a house in a nice area with my two teenage children (a girl and a boy about 1/2 the time).
Make sure your profile is attractive and PERSONAL, you have several photos of your self and traveling partners.
Make sure your travel partners have a CS Profile as well !!!
No photo, no chance.
My work requires a great deal of traveling however I do try to host as many people as possible whenever I am in town.********Dirty dishes prove I feed my family, full trash cans means I clean up after their messes, messy floors mean I let my children have fun, piles of laundry mean I keep my family in clean clothes, wet bathroom means I bathe my kids! So the next time you walk into my house and see a "mess" think twice before you judge. If you come over to see us, come on in... if you are coming over to see my house, please make an appointment. Keep this going if you're a parent.. :)
You don't stop playing games when you get old - you get old when you stop playing games.Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.You can go a long way with a smile. You can go a lot farther with a smile and a gun -- Al Capone
I have learned so much from my mistakes...
I am thinking of making a few more !!!
I want to die young as late as possible ... !
If you do not like where you are, then change it !
You are not a tree !!!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Please when you request to stay with me :
*** Make sure all requesting to stay have a CS Profile with picture(s) and sent me link to all that want to stay.
*** Find the 2 Magic words in my profile that show that you read my profile and not just copy/pasted your request.
*** Please make sure you add my name in request (hint : it is NOT Zebra , but read some references)
Yes, I sometimes host, but only those that are genuine couchsurfers.
It's called a "stay" because the experience will never leave you... !
I maintain COUCHsurfing and CROWDsurfing are basically the same thing — you're falling into the audience and you're trusting each other.
If you are just looking for a free place to stay, then you have not understood the meaning of CouchSurfing: please try your luck elsewhere.
We hope to learn a little about you, about your country etc, in exchange we will open our house for you...
We have organized several dinners at our home, even more than 30 house concerts: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=89472&id=1650992366&l=a54b42fe89
I will (hopefully) be helping out a bit on the Unity Express project.
I love CouchSurfing as a human community, as an inspiring experience.
The only problem that I have with couchsurfing, is that I keep falling in love with other CSers.
Not in a sexual sort of way, just in a "WOW, what an amazing and wonderful person, I want to spend 10 more hours with him/her" sort of way.
And then, in a day, or a week, they are out of my life and move on to their next adventure. Never to be seen again. *******************************************************
I tell it like it is because I don't know any other way to be. I am a bit shy, and can act a bit crazy when out having fun with friends. If you embarass easily, don't take me out in public! *******************************************************
I love, with every fiber of my being. I have more passion than almost anyone you will meet.
I enjoy spending time with my children, playing tennis ( if you like to play I can take you to my beautiful and historic tennis club), lively conversations, eating Japanese and Mediterranean food, modern architecture and art.
I like to learn to cook, so please teach me how to make your favorite dish !
I will provide wine and do the dishes... ;-)
