Hello! I'm a 22-year old student living in Amsterdam. I just finished my Bachelors in European Culture and Literature and have half a year of 'freedom' before I will start my Masters.
When I'm not in my books, I'm probably hanging out with my friends, making films or writing.
I grew up with a globetrotter-mom, who inspired me to discover more parts of the world and to always be open for new cultures. Most of my trips so far have been in within Europe, but last year I went on my first intercontinental trip to Jordan! Also, I have sailing obsessed grandparents, so spent lots of time on a boat when i was younger.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Lots of my friends have tried Couchsurfing and they are always super enthusiastic about it. This got me curious, so I decided to make an account myself.
When I'm travelling, I think the best part about the trip is meeting locals who will share the best 'where-to-go-secrets'. I think Couchsurfing is the perfect opportunity to meet those people.
And it also works the other way around! If I can host you on your trip to Amsterdam, I would love to share my favorite places, and share ideas about, well... anything!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2018, I went to Lapland. I think this was the most amazing experience for me, so far. We slept in a wooden cabin, had to get water from a water well, were surrounded by snow 24/7 and transported by snow scooter and husky sled.
