About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Helping others as much as I can.

ABOUT ME

I've started volunteering at international volunteer camps, so couchsurfing seems like an excellent way to get to know the country I'm volunteering in even better through its people.

I have a positive outlook and love to learn as much as I can about as many things as I can.
I enjoy listening to people who really love things they're talking about.

PHILOSOPHY

This one's closely related to me my mission:
Make others feel good whilst not making anyone else feel bad.
Be it volunteering, telling a joke, borrowing a book to someone, helping a person find their way in a foreign city, teaching them to cook or just sharing an interesting link, I love when I make people around me feel good.
Be the best I can be in every aspect.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Meeting people for a drink and a chat, showing them around town(s) :) .
On the other hand, surfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed in Czech Republic, had great fun with surfers passing through Belgrade.

Interests

Art, especially decorative arts.
Cooking, especially baking.
Languages. I love getting to know how they work and parcel reality.
Mythology - all of it! I love to see how people view the world around them and express those views through it. The same goes for my interest in languages.
Dancing - I love, love, love to dance!

Music, Movies, and Books

Ah, the music question - this is always a tough one for me since, although I do have a preferred genre, my tastes are eclectic - there is a strong possibility I have a few artists whose music I enjoy in almost every genre, and I have no problem with going out to places that play, erm, not-my-music :) .
I love melodious electronic, especially French (French *anything*, really, when it comes to music - they have indeed got 'the touch'): Vitalic, Danger, Daroc, Slagsmålsklubben, Detektivbyrån, Shameboy, The Knife, Röyksopp, Yelle, Lollobrigida Girls... Those are the first that come to mind.
I also like indie rock, but more on a song than on a band basis.

Fantasy, SF, horror. A Pratchett and ASOIAF fan.

Recently, I really liked Stilyagi, a Russian musical. I can't say enough about it. It was just... beautiful, and so much fun!
Children of Heaven, Oldboy, Incendies, Hot Fuzz, Tokyo Godfathers, Studio Ghibli's toons.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One?
I get the 'this is amazing' feeling out of many smaller things rather than one big. Beautiful landscapes amaze me, and so do people's inventions and creations.

Teach, Learn, Share

Did my masters on Serbian as a foreign language, so I could teach that :D , especially if someone has more of an in-depth interest.

I'd love to teach or learn how to cook something new.
