ABOUT ME

Okay, enough with the t.A.T.u lyrics, I should write a proper description of myself... though, I guess I haven't had enough coffee yet as I'm feeling like stealing a description from some other site ...I mean my own of course, not somebody else's! Duh. Well, look at me, there I go, blabbering nonsense. Yeah, I blabber nonsense. I thinks it's fun to blabber in general, and the word blabber is pretty fun too, if not a bit too close to bladder D:

I often try to be funny. Sometimes I succeed, sometimes I fail. Matters not, c'est la vie.

Oh, I love puns and other types of "linguistic humour". Engrish, misheard lyrics... you name it!

A twisted humour is fine too. And dorky stuff, like twisting Internet memes.

Me, myself and I? I, I, uhm, I'm studying at a lazy kind of pace... not that I'm bad at it, on the contrary. Guess I'm just not that good at focusing on one thing, eh? B'sides I'm not entirely sure what I wanna do as this thing called work. I could do anything! Well, almost. Anyway.

Wheeerre was I? Ah yes, I'm very curious about all sorts of things and I enjoy both arts and sciences. I love to explore, be it while taking a walk or playing a MMORPG. I have a certain fascination with wandering lifestyles and I feel uneasy if I stay in one place too long. Then again, I feel there's always something new to discover in any given place.

My goodness, I haven't mentioned social phobia yet! Hahhaa, I truly must be getting over it! Whee! *ahem* It just that there was a time when I was really, really scared of talking to people, and when writing these descriptions I kind of... um, warned people... by mentioning it as the first thing in the blabbery.
But worry ye not, if thou art scared of shy or quiet people, they/we don't bite (unless you want me to, ohoho). And I'm not that shy anyways, I'm just complex ;P Sometimes I love to talk non-stop, sometimes I don''t. I do love to be around people. Sometimes I need time for myself, but generally, the more people the better! Thus like everything, I'm curious about people. It's just a gentler curiosity, perhaps.
Couple last things... um, I'm optimistic and believe in the potential of human beings to be good. (Humanity in general though *shiver*... nah, just wish we'd treat this planet with more respect!)

Sometimes I do/don't do things just to see what happens if I do/don't. And that's the bottom line! (not really. It's actually that I was kinda born drunk on life. Yeah.)

PHILOSOPHY

Breathe in, breath out. Cultivate wei wu wei. Be the best you can be, but don't fall for the siren song of rigid perfectionism - no living person is complete and flawless, so throw away that useless angst, you're fine. That is not to say don't improve yourself - everyone can and should, living is a dynamic learning process.
Practice kindness and look into people's hearts with an open mind and heart.

Travelling is a good thing and if I can be a good guest/host to someone, I'm happy.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None, I'm afraid. Eager to have my first!
I'm afraid I can't host anyone right now, although it miiight be possible (if you're happy with just a mattress). I'll be happy to show someone around town and have a coffee/drink with, and perhaps make new friends in the process :)

(Well, ok I have actually hosted a couple travelers and friends over the years. Just not via CS)
