Traveling to find out where I want to settle down for a while

ABOUT ME

Was working a dead-end job so I had my mid-life crisis and went traveling in Asia. Fell in love with Saigon/HCMC so now I've moved here as of January. Before, I was living in Galway, a musical and cultural town in the west of Ireland.

PHILOSOPHY

No one else is wrong, they only do it differently. Everyone acts out of a good desire, just find it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love the hosts I meet while CSing and what we can share together; I love to visit with people and learn from them. I have also opened my homes to guests from around the world while living in Florida, NYC, and Ireland.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My best CS experience so far was arriving to Oslo, Norway, without a place to stay and hoping the extra CSers (in addition to the ones I wrote long before) I emailed last minute would respond. I went to a hostel to use their wifi & while waiting for responses went on a dating app. There I started chatting and found a Couchsurfer who gracefully invited me to stay! ^^

兴趣

I'm a major foodie and cook and like to use a lot of herbs and spices. Local cuisine & Cuban food is my specialty.
I love football (soccer) and play it when I can.
Kayaking & outdoor activities as well! I'm getting into cycling a lot more. I used it in college to get around everywhere but I want to go on longer trips now. In Ireland, I would cycle out into Connemara (wild country) and every time it would rain - just a part of living in Ireland.
Oh, and I make beer at home.
