ABOUT ME

Hello! I am Zelis.

I grew up in a small town east of the furthest point West in California. I have lived the past 5 years in New York City and have relocated to Stockholm, Sweden where i will start my own production company, host couch surfers, learn to cook scandinavian style, and enjoy northern life.

I am very passionate about art, and creating interactive experiences with theater, gastronomy, athletics and technology! I love cooking, and love to learn how other people prepare dishes, and experience their culture and community through food.

I am very active and can hold my own in physical activities, and enjoy yoga, dance, contact improv, and trying new forms of communication.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surf and I host. I enjoy attending and creating events!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted a surfer from London for two weeks in December 2012

January - February 2013 I surfed for a month around Berlin and Copenhagen

july 2013 I couch surfed in Oslo & Stockholm

THis year 2013-2014 I have hosted in New York City, and have had a great time meeting people from The Netherlands, Sweden, Colorado, Brazil, Scotland, Czech Republic, Tunisia, Australia,and more!!

Summer 2014: met with couchsurfers and was hosted in Morocco!

Fall 2014-2015:living and (soon to be) hosting in stockholm!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I traveled in Morocco for 5 weeks on my own, i have been a witness to--the sun set from the other side of the atlantic, towns that were painted blue, hundreds of people outside of the mosque for prayer, ramadan, the beautiful call to prayer, women making the best bread you've had in your life, and endless amounts of mint tea.

For 5 years i lived in the center of New York City!
