Overview
About Me
I’m an IT Architect at Adobe by day, and a handstand-pushing, kite-surfing philosopher by night. I hold a Master's in Software Engineering and currently call Zurich (Oerlikon) my home. I’m a deeply spiritual person and a dedicated Yogi, firmly believing that physical and mental health are two sides of the same coin.
When I’m not running my local community clubs ("Calisthenics Oerlikon" and "Philosophers Oerlikon"), I’m usually outdoors. I'm an adrenaline lover who enjoys riding my big KTM motorbike, snowboarding, hiking, and scuba diving, but I equally enjoy the simple peace of listening to ocean waves on a quiet evening. I've already traveled half the world, usually with my trusty Sony Alpha 7C in hand, waiting for the perfect light.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I host because I want to give back to the community. I’m incredibly grateful for the good life I get to live, and I want to share my space, knowledge, and time with people who are out exploring or might need a helping hand.
When traveling, I am here to truly connect. I love the idea of diving into new cultures, learning new languages, trying local foods, experiencing different climates, and understanding new world-views. For me, life is all about sharing knowledge and love.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: The Lord of the Rings is my absolute favorite, with The Matrix right behind it (maybe we are in a simulation, but at least the graphics are great).
Music: Mostly on the electronic side, but it totally depends on the vibe. I’m just as likely to suggest going to a classical concert if the mood strikes!
Books: Given that I run a philosophy club, anything that explores life's big questions, spirituality, or mind-bending concepts.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Deciding the famous "Death Road" in Bolivia wasn't quite extreme enough for me, so I teamed up with an experienced rider and went completely off-grid into the Bolivian wilderness for a day. No roads, no cell network—just motorbikes, pure adrenaline, and raw nature.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I can teach you the basics of calisthenics (I’ll gladly help you nail your first handstand!), the fundamentals of meditation, or the secrets of good photography without relying on heavy post-processing.
Learn: I want to learn about your culture, your language, your grandma's best recipe, and your unique perspective on life.
Share: Deep philosophical late-night talks, a calm yoga/meditation session, and a genuine, open-minded vibe.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good energy and gratitude!
If you host me, I come with epic travel stories from around the world, a passion for cooking delicious and healthy vegetarian meals for us, and the ability to fix your IT problems (I am a software engineer, after all :). Or maybe you always wanted a new portrait picture, let me help you with that!
I am highly respectful, tidy, and independent.
