About Me

feeling the freedom

i am continuously trying to master the art of listening to my gut. Always like when my living space has a balcony, roof, or porch and after a week in a city i begin crafting ideas for the next time i will be surrounded by trees, openness, and freshness. my favorite jokes have puns and i always appreciate a good quote. i usually have a harmonica on me...slowly learning how to play it!

i prefer hot over cold, sailing or driving over flying, dogs over cats, pizza...always, windows over walls, candles over incense, whiskey over sweaters, oceans over pools, cafes over libraries, coffee over tea, awake over sleep, dancing over walking, unknown over known

i dont remember the last time i was bored...i have many ideas but no plans... i believe having options is a beautiful thing and clarity is a blessing that comes with time.

Beauty: "it is too splendid to be sane"

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

i started csing 3 summers ago around spain and it was the best the best the best. ive hosted as much as possible-- love meet ups and events. last summer i went on a cross country road trip with my sister that eventually brought us to Burning Man-- csing along the way added so much to the trip. now im living in melbourne.

my time fills up with reading, writing, running, hiking, traveling, studying, learning, meeting, smiling, eating, painting, drawing, dancing, crafting, sleeping?, exploring, listening.

"what seems to me the highest and most difficult achievement of Art is not to make us laugh or cry, not to arouse our lust or rage, but to do what nature does—that is, to set us dreaming"€
